Mark Burwell

As a successful entrepreneur, mentor, author and small business leader, Mark draws on his 35 years of running various successful businesses and helping with over 1600 business start-ups. He also took a Wisconsin based company as President and CEO and grew it to a regional level that was nationally recognized.

With wisdom and a strong dose of customer reality, Mark offers innovative ideas. He is a recognized leader in entrepreneurial leadership, image building, innovative business solutions and is an excellent visionary.

Mark was honored by the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce as the "Small Business Person of the Year" and "Wisconsin's Small Business Advocate of the Year" by the U.S. Small Business Administration in trying to create a level playing field for small business. He is a presenter at various Chambers of Commerce, business groups and universities nationally and internationally. Mark received the University of Wisconsin Stout "Distinguished Alumni Award" for his career accomplishments.

Mark is currently the Executive Director of the Urban Hope Entrepreneur Center, which serves the New North and is located in the Business Assistance Center on NWTC's campus.
